OBJECTIVES

The main objective of CPFC is to provide support in the training activities of District Forest Office (DFO) and Regional Training and Extension Centre (RTEC). Other objectives are:

• Improvement and management of Community Forests
• Post-formation support to Forest User Groups (FUG) to ensure proper follow-up of Operation Plans of FUG.
• Improvement of rural communities' income, based on forest products, Non Timber Forest Products and responding to market demand.
• Improvement of agro-forestry, and other Private Forestry practices.
